So, what’s with the name? Well, my last name, Zaino, means backpack in Italian and it’s been a nickname that has stuck with me since high school…I kinda like it, so I kept it.  Not to mention, it’s a nice coincidence that you can associate a Backpack with school and learning, which is exactly what I would like this blog to do – be a place to learn and share ideas about Web 2.0 content and applications.

Cool – what will you be writing about, backpack? I’ve created this forum as a resource not only for myself, but also for others who want to participate, advise, and learn about Web 2.0 marketing. I find this “new” type of marketing rather fascinating and I am curious to know more about it – new tools and applications, interesting sites, widgets, blogs, ideas and services. In this space, I hope to create a symposium-like atmosphere, where others can share, comment, and create ideas and content that will educate the community about Web 2.0 marketing. Blog on!
